








Terms & Conditions
Payment of your consultation/class fee implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
All appointments must be paid in full by the due date shown on your invoice.
Cancellations made one calendar day prior to the appointment may be rescheduled at an additional cost equivalent to the full fee for a single consultation.
Cancellations made two calendar days prior to the appointment may be rescheduled at an additional cost equivalent to 50% of the full fee for a single consultation.
Cancellations made more than two calendar days prior to booking may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
For the avoidance of doubt, a cancellation is defined as any appointment which cannot be made at the time, date, and location stated when originally booked
Positive Canine Coaching reserves the right to cancel an appointment.
Any appointment cancelled by Positive Canine Coaching will be rescheduled for a later date.
All credit must be used within 4 months of the date of your first consultation.
No refunds will be given for any unused sessions after the aforementioned 4-month period or for any missed group classes.
Missed group classes may not be taken at a later date.
No fees will be refunded.
If your dog has ever bitten a person/other animal, you MUST report this prior to your consultation.
If you are advised by us that a veterinary check is advisable, it is your responsibility to ensure this is carried out.
Consultations will not be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions and wear appropriate footwear.
In extreme weather conditions, Positive Canine Coaching may cancel your session (even at short notice) if travel is unsafe.
If this occurs, your session will be rescheduled.
Illness
If you are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19, if you are waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test or have been asked to self-isolate please do not attend your session.
Client Responsibility
By working with Positive Canine Coaching you agree -
to fully engage with the process of working with your dog to the best of your ability and understand that any changes will involve commitment and consistency
to understand there is no 'quick fix' when working with behavioural issues
not to use aversive tools (choke chains, anti-pull harnesses, spray collars, prong collars, e-collars, rattle cans, water sprays etc)
while undertaking training not to seek advice from another trainer or behaviour consultant for the same issue
whilst you are working with Positive Canine Coaching
be open and honest in providing information
ask for clarification if anything which is explained in unclear
have an open mind with regard to potential solutions, changes and strategies
Disclaimer
Owners are to understand that modifying behaviour poses a risk of injury.
You are to ensure that necessary steps are taken at all times to prevent injury, including the avoidance of situations that might trigger an aggressive behaviour.
Owners agree to indemnify and hold unaccountable Positive Canine Coaching against any and all losses, liabilities, judgments and costs (including legal fees and expenses) arising out of, or related to, any claim of injury to persons or property of any kind, whether before, during or after the consultation and when implementing suggested techniques with your dog.
Digital Media Photographs, video or digital recordings are taken of dogs in training for, among other things, use in advertising by Positive Canine Coaching.
You (the client) acknowledge that all such images are the property of Positive Canine Coaching and give consent, without compensation, to use, reproduce, and alter the images, in print and electronic format (including the internet), either alone or in combination with other texts and graphics.

Where Positive Canine Coaching have outsourced a function or activity to an external service provider, we will only disclose personal information that the service provider needs to undertake that function or activity.
We will require external service providers to enter into confidentiality agreements, prohibiting them from using or disclosing personal information, for any purpose other than to carry out the function or activity for which they are engaged.

Positive Canine Coaching is committed to ensuring that your information is secure.
Positive Canine Coaching takes reasonable steps to protect all personal information we hold, from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
All data and laptops are kept securely, and laptops are password-protected.
We will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information when it is no longer needed.
