By placing a booking and paying for that booking (classes or 121 training) you are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted Positive Canine Coaching's terms and conditions.

Classes, Training 121's & Consultations

  • Cars are parked at training venues at their owner’s risk. We do not accept any responsibility for theft or damage to cars or property whilst at training.

  • Family members are always welcome in classes and 121 training. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • If a class is held outdoors you will be notified.  If outdoors, please wear clothing appropriate to the time of year. Also please bring your dog or puppy a raincoat or jumper if they are short-coated and it is cold or wet and a cool coat if it is hot and they are thick coated.

  • Please keep your dog on the lead at all times unless you are instructed otherwise. This is very important for the comfort and safety of all and our classes.

  • All our classes are a set rate for whole the course. It is not possible to pay per class. We are unable to offer refunds at any time.

  • Please ensure your dog has had some exercise before the class and will be more relaxed and ready to learn.

  • As responsible owners please ensure that you have the means to clean up after your dog and leave this in the designated bin

  • Rewards form the basis of our training. Please bring high-value rewards such as your dog's favourite treat and toy. We will, of course, explain the best way to use these.

  • Any injury to a dog is the sole responsibility of the owner

  •  If your dog has ever bitten a person/another animal, you MUST report this prior to your booking class/consultation.

  • Should your bitch come into season during the course, you may not be able to attend but please check with your trainer

  • If we have very bad weather or temperatures over 25 degrees or more please still come along unless we contact you. We will make adjustments to the class exercises and location to ensure you and your dog's safety

  • Our classes are family-friendly, however, please make sure if a child is under the age of 8, there is an extra adult present.

Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

  • Payment of your consultation/class fee implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  • All appointments must be paid in full by no later than 72 hours prior to the first class/consultation.  Payment plans can be discussed.

  • Classes are paid for in 6-week blocks, you are paying for your spot for the whole course and can not carry over classes that you have not managed to attend.

  • Cancellations for classes and consultations must be made by email. Cancellations will be subject to the following reasons: A substitute delegate may be named at any time before the class or workshop at no additional cost.

  • If your dog comes into season please contact your trainer as you may not be able to attend class

  • No refunds will be given for any missed group classes. (please see cancellation policy)

  • Cancelations made one calendar day prior to the appointment may be rescheduled at an additional cost equivalent to the full fee of a single consultation.

  • Cancelation made two calendar days prior to the appointment may be rescheduled at an additional cost equivalent to 50% of the full fee of a single consultation.

  • Cancelations made more than two calendar days prior to booking may be rescheduled at no additional cost

  • A cancelation is defined as any appointment which cannot be made at the time, date and location started when originally booked.

  • Positive Canine Coaching reserves the right to cancel an appointment. Any appointment canceled by Positive Canine Coaching will be rescheduled for a later date

  • All credit must be used within 6 months of the date of your first consultation

  • No refunds will be given for any unused sessions after the aforementioned 6 month period or for any missed group classes

  • If you are advised by PCC that a veterinary check is advisable it is your responsibility to ensure this is carried out.

  • Positive Canine Coaching may cancel your session (even at short notice) if travel is unsafe. If this occurs your session will be rescheduled.

  • No fees will be refunded.

Cancellation policy

If you have paid for your place but then decide not to attend and the course has not yet started, you can request a refund (minus an administration fee of £20) as long as you give at least 10 days' notice before the course is due to begin. This is so that PCC has an opportunity to fill the space that you have left open. Once your payment has been received and classes have started, refunds are not available. If you would like a refund but you give fewer than 10 days' notice, you will not be eligible for a refund. Please make sure you are aware of this policy before you sign up for the course.  If you are unable to attend this course and would like to transfer to the next round, please discuss with PCC first. Please note that there is no guarantee that this is possible as it depends on availability and class dynamics.
